South Carolina Firefighter Dies After Returning From Incident

A Blenheim, Marlboro County (SC) Firefighter has died in the Line of Duty following his response to a vehicle crash. Lieutenant Steve Hagan, 50, returned home after the run early Dec. 23 when he complained of chest pains. EMS was called to his home and he was transported. While undergoing evaluation at the hospital he arrested and efforts to save his life were unsuccessful.
