CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. -- A volunteer firefighter has died while responding to a vehicle crash south of Tallahassee.
A Wakulla County official says Richard Rhea apparently slipped on the wet grass on the shoulder of the road around 2:30 a.m. Saturday and tumbled onto a downed live wire.
Rhea, 60, had worked for fire and emergency-medical services for more than 32 years.
