NC Firefighter Stricken at Scene, Later Dies

A Firefighter from the Miller's Creek Fire Department, 58-year-old William Gray Parsons, died in the Line of Duty Sunday morning after responding on a run as the apparatus operator. FF Parsons reportedly had a medical emergency after arriving on the scene, was treated and transported but tragically died several hours later at a nearby medical facility.
